Black Seed constitutes over 100 components, serving as a rich source of vitamins, antioxidants, and polyphenols. Black seed is made up of about 35% fat, 21% protein, and 38% carbohydrates, with essential fatty acids making up more than 50% of the extracts.
It has abundant amounts of linoleic acid and gamma linolenic acid which helps to produce Prostaglandin E1, which aids the body in fighting inflammatory responses and infections, balancing the immune system and subduing allergic reactions. Gamma-linolenic acid is a powerful stabilizer of the cell membrane.
Contains approximately 0.5-1.5% of volatile extracts, including Nigellone and Thymoquinone that have been studied for their immune-boosting and analgesic, anticancer, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic activity.
Black Seed extract is also rich in essential amino acids, minerals like Zinc, Magnesium and Selenium which are staples for healthy skin and hair.
